Peak TCHON-TOO, ex - Lenin, 7134 m, is the highest point of the Zaalai Range of the North Pamirs. The summit is covered with snow and ice. On the North slope there are some easy ways. The region is very popular, for the Lenin peak is the most accessible summit of 7000 m, and the whether in summer time is stable enough. The Base Camp stays at altitude of 3600m, on a green meadow, which is called the Onion Meadow. It is possible to get to the Base Camp by bus from the town of Osh.

SCHEDULE OF THE EXPEDITION
Day 1 Arrival in Bishkek, transfer to Osh, hotel accommodation.
Day 2 Transfer to Achiktash in the Kamansu area, base camp at 3400 m.
Days 3-20 Over the Puteshestvenikov Pass to and along the Lenin Glacier to advance base camp. Via "Skovorodka" to camp 2 at 5100 m; descend to base for a rest. Up to camp 2; ascent of Razdelnaja (6148 m) and descend to camp 2. Ascend to camp 3 at 6100 m and then to the summit. Back to camp 3; down to base camp. The basic programme is open to much variation and takes about 18 days. Three additional days are available in case of poor conditions.
Day 21 Transport to Osh, hotel accommodation.
Day 22 Depart to Bishkek and return home.

 

Price of the trip (20 days) from Bishkek to Bishkek is 1060 USD per person. The price does not include mountain guide service.

The price includes: meeting and transfers to/from airport; all travel according to the programme; hotel and tent accommodation, food, tour leader, interpreter, access permits. Search and rescue assistance if covered by mountain rescue insurance!

Prices do not include: travel to and from Kyrgyzstan, accident and rescue insurance; personal equipment.

At additional cost: mountain guides, porters (unless otherwise stated in programme) etc.
